On November 29, 2024, the Nordic Ukraine Forum, in collaboration with the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE), hosted the seminar "Investing in Ukraine's Future" and celebrated its 10-year anniversary.

The seminar featured prominent speakers, including:

• Ulrik Tideström, Swedish Government’s Special Envoy for Ukraine
• Andrii Plakhotniuk, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Sweden
• Tymofiy Mylovanov, President of Kyiv School of Economics
• Esben Gadsbøll, Co-founder of Defense Innovation Highway
• Judith Gough, Senior Strategic Advisor at Actagon, and former UK Ambassador
• Roman Waschuk, Ukraine’s Business Ombudsman and former Canadian Ambassador

Moderated by Torbjörn Becker, Director of SITE, the discussion highlighted the essential role of international investments in Ukraine’s defense, energy, IT, education, and housing sectors. Speakers emphasized how russia’s ongoing war has spurred innovation and underscored the importance of democratic nations leading these efforts, with Ukraine serving as a global model for resilience and innovation.

Alina Zubkovych reflected on Nordic Ukraine Forum’s decade-long journey in strengthening ties between Nordic countries and Ukraine and shared exciting plans for the future.

The event concluded with a reception featuring Ukrainian cuisine, wines from Racimo, and a captivating musical performance by Tymur Vasylyshyn, Iana Kovalova, and the Piacella Duo. A charity auction supported recovery initiatives for Ukrainian military medics and evacuation volunteers through the Repower Charitable Foundation.
