Open Lecture on Human Rights in Japan

André Asplund, postdoctoral research fellow at the European Institute of Japanese Studies, will give a lecture on "Human Rights in Japan" at Centre for East and South-East Asian Studies, Lund University.
The lecture will address Japan's legal system and human rights issues (including issues related to gender, discrimination, migrants, and the death penalty etc), as well as human rights in Japan's foreign policy and diplomacy, and Japna's role in the UN.
