Whither Growth in Central and Eastern Europe?
03 December, 2010
Torbjörn Becker has contributed to a new Blueprint from Bruegel where it is argued that although the development model in central and eastern Europe should not be scrapped, it needs reform, both at the national and EU level.
Bruegel and The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) cooperated to form an expert group of economists from various European countries that included Zsolt Darvas, Jean Pisani-Ferry, Andre Sapir, Torbjörn Becker, Daniel Daianu, Vladimir Gligorov, Michael A Landesmann, Pavle Petrovic, Dariusz K. Rosati and Beatrice Weder di Mauro to write this report.
