SSE researcher to become future leader in global health research

Martina Björkman Nykvist, Assistant Professor at SSE, is one of eight researchers to have been admitted to SIGHT’s (Swedish Institute for Global Health Transformation) new Fellow Program in Gobal Health Leadership. The fellows have been identified as upcoming leaders in global health with the potential to serve as agents of change, with the ability to lead progress towards global health equity and the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“I am very happy to have been selected as a SIGHT Fellow and to be part of this multidisciplinary initiative aimed at providing a scientific basis for policy work in the field of global health. I look forward to interacting with researchers from other disciplines and hope that this will produce new ideas and opportunities for interdisciplinary research”, says Martina Björkman Nykvist.
