SSE moves all teaching online
17 November, 2020
In light of the increased spread of COVID-19 in Stockholm, and the latest regulations issued by the Swedish government, SSE has decided to move all education to online and distance learning channels as of Monday 23 November.
This is how SSE is addressing the challenges we are currently facing because of the spread of COVID-19:
- As of Monday 23 November, 2020 and through study period 2(i.e. 15 January 2021), all educational activities will move to digital and distance learning channels.
- Upcoming exams in December and January will be carried out digitally. Practical details will be communicated shortly.
- The SSE campus will remain open for students under strict regulations and for individual studies only. No group gatherings are allowed on campus. More detailed information about the Library services will follow.
- Employees are encouraged to work from home, with the exception of critical positions (if you are unsure if this applies to you, please consult your manager).
We are monitoring the recommendations by the Swedish authorities on a daily basis and are in close contact with partner universities across the globe. We are committed to reducing the risk of contagion and shouldering the responsibility we all have as citizens.
