New director appointed

We are very happy to announce the appointment of Pierre Guillet de Monthoux as the new Director of SSE Art Initiative

Pierre Guillet de Monthoux is currently affiliated Professor at the Center for Arts, Business & Culture (ABC) at Stockholm School of Economics, at Uppsala University Campus Gotland as well as professor of Philosophy and Management at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School (CBS). He will continue the development of SSE Art Initiative, initiated by its first founding director Isak Nilson. We wish Pierre a warm welcome and look forward to a bright future integrating the arts and humanities with research and education at Stockholm School of Economics.

The new Director of SSE Art Initiative, Pierre Guillet de Monthoux, has extensive knowledge of the intersection of arts, business and the humanities. He has initiated the CEMS schools faculty group for integrating Humanities and Arts in business education and is currently engaged in liberal art-based management research

at several universities. In his research, he focuses on making aesthetic philosophy and contemporary art bridge business and society and on how to rethink business education as critical curating and facilitating art as experience. He co-founded the Nomadic University at Åbo Academy in Finland and conducted executive experimental art-based leadership workshops through ECAM (the European Center for Art and Management) in Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland, France and Belgium.
