The Heckscher-Ohlin Room

The Heckscher-Ohlin Room is one of the most spectacular venues for dinners and representation at SSE, filled with art and light for an a warm atmosphere.

Booking the Heckscher-Ohlin Room 

Book the room by sending an email to info@hhs.se, stating the purpose of the event and who will be responsible. You will then be provided with an agreement to sign and follow-through. 

What's in the room?

Tables and seats 

  • There are four marble tables, that seats 4-6 guests each. The diameter of each table is 130 cm. 
    • You can choose to extend the tables, by connecting them two and two, creating two long tables that measures 130 * 422 cm. Contact Public Clean to assist you. 
  • There are 24 leather chairs. 
  • In the lounge area, about 10 guests can be seated on the couch
  • The room takes approx 40 people for standing-up mingles (this may differ during the pandemic) 

Both the chairs and tables are made of highly sensitive materials, and needs to be handled with great care. Please always use a table cloth when serving food and/or drinks. 

Kitchen equipment 

The kitchen in the room has the following equipment and features: 

  • Stove and oven 
  • 2 dishwashers
  • Fridge (small) 
  • Wine fridge 
  • Coffee machine for up to 20 cups (a double Moccamaster)  
  • Heaters for buffet food  
  • Coat rack with approx 20 hangers 

Also... 

  • Plates (small and regular size) 
  • Cutlery 
  • Wine and water glasses 
  • Vases for flowers 
  • Candle holders 
  • Table coasters

Technology 

In the room, you'll find the follwing technical equipment: 

  • Projector with integrated screen that folds down from the ceiling and speakers. 

The balcony

  • The balcony can be used for cooling drinks during the colder months. 

Before you leave the room

Cleaning and refurbishing

Make sure the room is cleaned and restored when you leave it: 

  • Wipe off all surfaces 
  • Take out the dishes from the dishwasher 
  • Take the rubbish with you (or ensure that the catering provider do so) 
  • Turn off the lights

Cleaning by Public Clean must be performed in direct connection to the event. If the event is on a Saturday and the room is vacant the following Sunday, it is possible to perform the cleaning then. Remember that the nearby restrooms also must be cleaned.

Public Clean will also restore the tables, if you have extended them for the event.
