The CIVICA university alliance embarks on a new and ambitious phase

This month, on the occasion of Erasmus+ days, the university alliance CIVICA celebrates its three-year anniversary with the launch of the new phase. The alliance, which includes the European University Institute (EUI), also welcomes two new members: IE University (Spain) and SGH Warsaw School of Economics (Poland).

She is passionate about sustainability both from the environmental and socio-economic justice standpoint and is now investigating the circular supply chains from a sustainability, business strategy and operations perspective.

Nobel Prize in Economics for research on banks and financial crises

This year’s laureates in the Economic Sciences, Ben Bernanke, Douglas Diamond and Philip Dybvig, have significantly improved our understanding of the role of banks in the economy, particularly during financial crises. Particularly important is their research on the importance of avoiding bank collapses.

Starting now, companies at the School’s startup incubator, SSE Business Lab, will be getting both a boost in their venture building and an offer of investment from the new fund SSE Ventures. Seven new startups are starting at the incubator today, four of which are eligible for investment.
