Finding solutions will require collaborative governance that crosses the boundaries of the private and public. To meet the demand for such knowledge the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) is launching a new research hub – the House of Governance and Public Policy (GaPP).

This year’s laureates in the Economic Sciences, Ben Bernanke, Douglas Diamond and Philip Dybvig, have significantly improved our understanding of the role of banks in the economy, particularly during financial crises. Particularly important is their research on the importance of avoiding bank collapses.

Starting now, companies at the School’s startup incubator, SSE Business Lab, will be getting both a boost in their venture building and an offer of investment from the new fund SSE Ventures. Seven new startups are starting at the incubator today, four of which are eligible for investment.
