Yesterday on 9th of October, the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences was bestowed upon Prof. Claudia Goldin of Harvard University for her pioneering work on women's labor market evolution. FROGEE and SITE extends heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Goldin for this esteemed recognition.

The Nobel Prize in Economics this year has been awarded to Claudia Goldin for her transformative work on the drivers behind the gender differences on the labor market. Goldin makes history as the third woman and the first sole female recipient to receive this honor, while highlighting the reasons why the gender gap still persists to this day.
