Ending poverty requires cross-sectoral partnerships and engagement from all parts of society, not least the private sector. Misum researchers Ting Dong and Milda Tylaite examine the Swedish audit regime shift in 2010 which removed mandatory audit requirements for small private companies. Their study highlights the resulting shift in bargaining power between auditors and their clients along with implications for private firms’ tax reporting.

Misum researchers Emma Sjöström, Hanna Setterberg and Rachelle Belinga have been granted 1.5M SEK funding for the two-year project “Monetizing sustainability”. The grant is offered by Vinnova as part of the call "Research on financial markets 2022-2024".
