SSE Professor Alexander Ljungqvist receives grant from the ERC

Professor Alexander Ljungqvist has been awarded the prestigious Advanced Grant by the European Research Council (ERC) as part of its flagship Horizon Europe program. He is the first researcher at SSE to receive the grant.
The majority of young professionals feel confident about AI, new research finds

57% of young professionals feel comfortable or very confident about the increasing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in various aspects of daily life, while only 15% reported feeling unsettled or scared about the prospect. This according to new research from CEMS, the Global Alliance in Management Education of which the Stockholm School of Economics is a member and currently holds the presidency.
Magnus Tyreman appointed new Chair of Stockholm School of Economics

Magnus Tyreman is the new Chair of the Board of the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) from January 1, 2024. Tyreman succeeds Laurent Leksell, who ended his meritorious six-year term as the Chair of the Board of SSE at year-end.

Joanna Ziolkowska takes on new role in CIVICA at SSE

SSE is delighted to welcome Joanna Ziolkowska to the CIVICA team, in her new role as CIVICA Project Manager. Her academic journey so far is marked by an interdisciplinary path, including a PhD in political science focused on the EU's democratic legitimacy.
