Earlier this summer, almost 100 students across the CIVICA university alliance came together at the London School of Economics for the CIVICA European Week 2024. Maria Ljungdahl and Gustav Jäger were two of the students from SSE who joined the activities in London.

Julia Delin, CEO of SSE Ventures, and Andreas Johansson, CEO of SSE Business Lab, will leave their positions at the end of this year to start a new company together.

Join SSE and SASSE in this year's Stockholm Pride Parade as part of the Academic Pride network. All employees, students and alumni are welcome to participate. The parade will depart from Norr Mälarstrand on Saturday, August 3, starting at 13:00.

During the "Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Global Forum, it was announced that SSE’s Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) Report was the winner of the 2024 Recognition of Excellence in Reporting award, within the ‘Established reports’ category. 

Next week, 80 bachelor students from the SSE, Bocconi, CEU, IE University, SNSPA, Sciences Po, SGH and LSE, will gather in London for this year’s European Week. The topic of this edition is "Migration in a Changing Europe". The participating students from SSE are looking forward to the CIVICA event.

What can we do to promote wellbeing, welfare, and happiness? Swedbank, the Savings Banks in Sweden, and the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness at the Stockholm School of Economics are joining forces to enhance understanding of what builds wellbeing and to establish new, more human perspectives on economics.

Last week, the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) welcomed 48 participants from 15 prestigious Executive MBA programs worldwide for the Nordic Entrepreneurship course. We had representatives from AIM, Berkeley Haas, EGADE, ESMT, FGV EAESP, Fudan, IE University, IMD, NUS, Oxford Saïd, Strathmore, UNSW, Yale, SSE Riga, and SSE.

With its eleven newly admitted companies, SSE Business Lab is reaching a new milestone: 307 startups have now passed through the incubator. More than one third of these were admitted just in the past four years.

SSE President Lars Strannegård has been selected to speak on Swedish Radio's program Sommar i P1. He will share his thoughts on the importance of the fundamentally human, as machines are becoming smarter by the day.
