Ranjula Bali Swain and Susanne Sweet receive new grant

We are delighted to announce that CSR researchers Ranjula Bali Swain and Susanne Sweet have received a new grant from the Swedish Research Council (Formas) of about SEK 4 million. The grant is for their work with an institutional policy and business practice to support the implementation of circular economy in the textile value chain.

Implementation of the EU circular economy action plan is a strategy for regenerative growth with the aim of avoiding inefficient use of resources, reducing the footprint of consumption and creating new business opportunities within the planetary boundaries. The project aims to investigate and propose implementable solutions to the identified barriers in the Swedish and European market and policy context.
