Apply for Engelsberg Research Retreat 2023
This is the third year that Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation for Public Benefit welcomes researchers from the Stockholm School of Economics and its institutes to apply for the Scholars-in-Residence programme at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Engelsberg in Västmanland.

Eligibility: The Engelsberg SiR programme is directed to those researchers (not doctoral students) at SSE looking for a quiet and inspirational place to write, for those finishing an article, a book project or similar.
Practical information: During 1-3 weeks you have the opportunity to live at Engelsbergs bruk. You will be staying in one of the buildings on the site with you private kitchen, responsible for your own catering, including buying food, throughout your stay. Those who wish can also bring their family. There is wifi across all houses, via fiber. There is access to printer, and each scholar gets a desk at the venue Ventilfabriken. There will be daily tea time for scholars to meet in a non-ceremonial way. There is no cost involved for the scholar, other than travel and self-catering.
Application: Send a short personal letter of interest outlining your intentions for the residency at Engelsberg together with your CV.
