Swedish big business and the Harpsund conferences 1955–1962

The article argues that Swedish big business leaders used the Harpsund conferences as a strategic tool to influence government policy while simultaneously supporting centre-right parties. It also suggests that the cooperative relationships at these conferences were shaped by Sweden's corporatist framework and the unique conditions of rapid economic growth and geopolitical tension during that era.
