Exploring Wellbeing Across Borders: CWWH’s Visit to Tokyo

Micael Dahlen and the Center for Wellbeing in Worklife (CWWH) recently embarked on a meaningful visit to Tokyo, engaging in insightful discussions on workplace wellbeing and international collaboration. The trip provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, foster new connections, and strengthen ties between Sweden and Japan in the field of happiness research.

Micael Dahlen and the CWWH were recently invited to Tokyo, where Prof. Dahlen participated in an event with the theme “Wellbeing at work” at the Musashino University. Micael held a lecture, followed by a discussion panel with other professors and researchers in the wellbeing area. The event led to insightful and thought-provoking conversations regarding happiness research as well as an exchange of perspectives in the field between Sweden and Japan. During the trip, the CWWH also paid a visit to the Swedish embassy in Tokyo to talk about the Center’s work and missions. Overall, the Tokyo visit resulted in many new valuable connections between CWWH and Japan.
