Increasing sales of fresh foods together with Coop
The workshop started with a brief by Mattias Jornheden, Business Developer at Coop, about the fresh food assortment at Coop and what it consists of. The brief also concluded market growth and trends. In teams of four the students approached the challenge of how to increase sales within the fresh food area. With inspiration from other Swedish companies but also the American and Asian markets ideas were presented. For example, vertically growing vegetables in-store, ready-to-go dinner bags for families and working with seasonal awareness.
