Due to the Corona situation, the workshop was performed digitally, and combined with a presentation instead of a study visit. During the presentation, IKEA employees Joar Malmsten and Åke Larsson talked about how IKEA works with sustainability. The goal of the company is to become “people and planet positive” by 2030.

After the presentation, the students worked on four different cases in small working groups. The cases were related to different aspects of sustainability within different parts of IKEA. At last, the groups presented their case solutions and all the retail club members had an open discussion about them together with IKEA.
