Retail with a purpose at Accenture
A workshop at Accenture was held that required the students to use their creativity to come up with innovative ideas for how Coop could maintain its core purpose whilst regaining market share in the current market. Primarily, a presentation was held by Gustav Malmqvist, Song Account Lead Coop Sweden, on the topic of Coops history, Coop's core purpose of sustainability, as well as the current market conditions.
Later, the students were divided into groups to create ideas and solutions of activities that Coop could implement to maintain a focus on sustainability whilst still attracting customers in rough market conditions. The solutions were created on the basis of four different areas: technology, marketing, pricing and product range.
The solutions were later presented in front of the class, the students were then able to receive feedback and comments from Gustav.
