Retail for the Next Generation: Understanding Gen Z at Bemz

The students in the E-Commerce Retail Club participated in a workshop at Bemz, specializing in high-quality, made-to-order furniture covers.

The workshop began with a company presentation by CFO Carl Beijer, COO Annie Karlsson, and CPO Filippa Bonde, who provided insights into Bemz's business model, sustainability efforts, and global reach. Bemz operates as an e-commerce brand with a strong focus on customization, sustainability, and premium quality.

Following the presentation, students worked on a case study analyzing key purchasing factors Gen Z. Each group selected the most important factor for Gen Z, identified gaps in the sales strategy, and proposed improvements.

After the group presentations, a jury evaluated the ideas and selected a winning team. The workshop provided valuable industry insights and an opportunity for students to apply their theoretical knowledge to real world challenges.
