SITE invites to attend the Swedish launch of the World Bank Development Report 2017
Confronting the challenges faced by today’s developing countries requires a rethinking of how to design and implement policies. The report explores why policies and interventions aimed for positive development outcomes succeed well in some contexts, but fail to generate positive results in others. The purpose of the report is to enhance development effectiveness by understanding the politics of policies. The report will be made available at the World Banks website.
We invite you to a broad discussion about ensuring success of policy reforms on Thursday February 2, 14.00 – 16.00. The presentation will allow for questions and discussion which will be moderated by Torbjörn Becker, Director of SITE.
