Executive Education to be integrated with SSE
The Stockholm School of Economics was founded over a hundred years ago to strengthen Swedish competitiveness in the international market through education and research, something which is still the school's primary task. IFL Executive Education which since 1969 has developed leaders and organizations is an independent joint-stock company wholly owned by the Stockholm School of Economics. Under the new name SSE Executive Education, activities will now be completely integrated with the Stockholm School of Economics.
"It is a natural step to integrate our program in executive education further. By intensifying the exchange between industry and research, the Stockholm School of Economics strengthens its position as the benchmark in the world for business collaborations", says Lars Strannegård, President of the Stockholm School of Economics.
Stockholm is currently one of the world's leading innovation hubs. Through a clearer link to the Stockholm School of Economics research in innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable leadership, the program in executive education can actively contribute to continued innovation and development within Swedish industry.
