MBA scholar to strengthen Norwegian-Swedish cooperation
The SSE MBA NSHK scholarship is based on cooperation between the Norwegian-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (NSHK) and the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) and covers 18 months of executive MBA studies at the Stockholm School of Economics worth SEK465,000.
− Norway is one of Sweden’s largest trading partner and we hope that this scholarship will contribute to further strengthening our great relationship, says Björn Rosengren, President, Norwegian-Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
Erik Durhan is a 35-year-old journalist and economist, and resides in Stockholm. He receives the scholarship with the following justification by the jury:
Erik is an experienced manager with an entrepreneurial spirit working in the NSHK member company Nordea. We believe that the SSE MBA program will give Erik a solid foundation in general management and support him in realizing his full potential in current and future leadership roles. As a hard-working and inspiring manager and with his unique experience from media, he will also greatly contribute to the SSE MBA program and his peers. Not the least he will be a good ambassador for SSE, Nordea and NSHK.
− We are pleased and proud that our colleague Erik Durhan has been awarded the scholarship of the Norwegian-Swedish Chamber of Commerce. Besides Erik being a very good representative of Nordea and Wealth Management, the scholarship confirms that our strategic focus on talent management pays off, says Christian Hyldahl, Head of Asset Management, Nordea.
− The purpose of the scholarship is to promote Norwegian-Swedish cooperation and raise the level of skills among the next generation of leaders, says Karin Wiström, Director SSE MBA, Stockholm School of Economics.
