Startup at SSE Business Lab in the limelight
The awards have opened the doors to many opportunities for Buildsafe and have provided an injection of capital of approximately SEK 250.000.
"Receiving these awards means a lot to us. It confirms that we have a unique technical solution and business model that meets the needs of the construction industry. We are looking forward toward scaling the business next year and are now looking for interesting angel investors", says Viktor Broberg, CEO of BuildSafe and part-time Masters student at SSE.
Buildsafe was founded in January 2015 and has been a startup at SSE Business Lab since September.
"Being a part of SSE Business Lab has been great for us. The lab combines a central office space with good coaching and a strong network", says Viktor Broberg.
The company offers a holistic digital solution that improves reporting, documentation and communication in the construction industry. It helps construction companies to maintain a high level of safety and quality in their projects - while at the same time liberating them from unnecessary paper work. Less time for administration means more time for safety.
