Bachelor program in Retail Management to be given in English

For the first time in the history of the Stockholm School of Economics, we now offer a Bachelor program in English. From the autumn of 2018, the Bachelor Program in Retail Management will be open to students from all over the world.

The Swedish retail industry has achieved substantial success internationally and powers a significant share of the Nordic economy. The global success makes studying retail management in Sweden attractive, also for students from other countries.

“The international intake will strengthen the program and Swedish retail by attracting a more multifaceted recruitment base,” says Sara Rosengren, Professor and Head of the Center for Retailing at the Stockholm School of Economics.

The Bachelor Program in Retail Management is a three-year, leading-edge program focusing on retail. The program has been developed in close cooperation with the business sector and is largely financed by the Swedish retail industry.

The Stockholm School of Economics’ undergraduate program in Retail Management is one of the few academic educational programs in the world in which companies, students and faculty are integrated into the pedagogy of the program. So-called “Retail clubs” provide in-depth and continuous cooperation between retail companies, students, and faculty. The clubs also provide a powerful recruitment platform for these companies.
