This is the sixth time that a scholarship is being awarded to someone nominated by the Stockholm School of Economics’ Corporate Partners. The scholarship is valid for Executive MBA studies at the Stockholm School of Economics and is valued at SEK 465,000.
“The purpose of the scholarship is to promote further education and raise skill levels among next generation of leaders, and also serves as a way of expressing gratitude to SSE’s generous Corporate Partners,” says Karin Wiström at the Stockholm School of Economics.
The scholarship is awarded to someone who, through their position and future potential in one of the Corporate Partners’ operations, can contribute to strengthening their leadership and expertise in developing businesses and operations to the benefit of their company and, accordingly, of Sweden. Particular emphasis is placed on candidates’ potential to generate new business through entrepreneurship or intrapreneurship, and/or through transactions in an international market.
“I am very grateful for the amazing opportunity and challenge that the scholarship affords me. This is an opportunity for me to prepare for the future by combining my current knowledge and experience with new insights, both academic and personal. This is all thanks to the comprehensive instruction, as well as the stimulating discussions and collaborations between the participants. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Helena Saxon for her support, recommendation and willingness to invest in my future,” says Daniel Bruhn.
The following motivation for the scholarship award was given:
“Daniel is a humble, confident and curious leader who likes to see things from a different perspective. He is described by Investor as a key person with critical competence, a disruptive thinker who constructively challenges for the best result. Daniel has a Master in Commercial Law, and a strong competence within the tax field. He represents Investor in different forums, both within the business community, as well as in legislative matters. Through the SSE MBA program, Daniel will receive solid general management knowledge to complement his existing strong specialist skills. This will support him in achieving his full potential in current and future leadership roles.
With his experience, background and potential, Daniel is a very worthy recipient of the 2019 SSE MBA Corporate Partners scholarship”.
