Cancelled and postponed events

Following a decision by the President, the Stockholm School of Economics has decided to cancel the Alumni Homecoming in March and postpone this year’s Master Graduation, in light of the current outbreak of Covid-19 in Sweden. The decision has been made out of concern for the health and wellbeing of our attendees as well as for society at large.

As an institution that places a high value on responsible leadership, Stockholm School of Economics wants to act preemptively and limit the risk of contagion. Therefore, we have made the decision to put off all major events and gatherings for the time being.

This unfortunately means that the Alumni Homecoming event that was scheduled for Friday, March 27, will be cancelled. All tickets will be refunded but we ask for your patience as this process may take some time. If you have any questions or concerns, please email alumni@hhs.se.

Master graduation

This year’s Master Graduation, scheduled for Saturday, April 4, will be postponed. The ceremony will instead be held on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at City Hall. Those of you who have already registered and paid for the Master Graduation will receive a full refund, and will be sent a new registration link for the new Master Graduation at a later date.

We understand that these changes may cause inconvenience but ask for your patience and understanding in these uncertain times.

The Stockholm School of Economics has been closely monitoring the situation as it develops. We are staying updated on the advisories issued by the Public Health Agency of Sweden and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA).
