David Domeij selected as new member of IVA’s Economics division

David Domeij, Head of the Department of Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics, has been selected as a new member of the economics division of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA). This honor reflects his significant contributions to understanding macroeconomic policy and labor economics.
David Domeij is the Eva and Mats Qviberg Professor in Economics. His research focuses on areas such as income inequality, tax policy, and the dynamics of labor markets. His work combines theoretical models with empirical analysis to explore the long-term effects of fiscal policy on economic outcomes.
The IVA brings together experts from academia, industry, and public life to address complex societal challenges. Domeij’s inclusion will strengthen the economics division’s ability to tackle pressing policy issues with cutting-edge insights.
