On November 5 Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) hosted 9th Energy Day - Economic Impacts of Oil Price Fluctuations. Conference presentations on the volatility of oil price forecasts, oil price fluctuations, new climate economy and other topics have been published for everyone interested in the energy field.

The Graduation Ceremony for BSc students 2015 took place in the City Hall of Stockholm on November 7. An occasion for our students to receive and celebrate well-deserved diplomas, and an opportunity to reward outstanding achievements.

The new artwork, "Pirate Lane" from 2007 by Clay Ketter, is part of his series Gulf Coast Slabs. This series of photographs registers the foundations of homes which were destroyed by a natural disaster of enormous scale, the hurricane Katrina.

With a two-day workshop at Kämpasten in October, the Research School in Accounting (FIRE) is now officially launched. This research school for ph.d-students is a joint collaboration between SSE, Stockholm University and Uppsala University. It is funded by Jan Wallander & Tom Hedelius’ Foundations and the Torsten Söderberg’s Foundation.
