Daniel Buncic
Before joining Stockholm University, I was a senior research economist in the Financial Stability Department of the Riksbank (the Central Bank of Sweden). From 2010 to 2017 I was an Assistant Professor in the School of Economics and Political Sciences at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
I have held various consulting appointments at the World Bank, the European Central Bank, as well as the private sector. I earned my PhD in Economics from the University of New South Wales in Sydney (Australia) under the supervision of Prof. Adrian Pagan.
My research areas are financial economics, macroeconomics, time-series econometrics, forecasting, financial stability and banking.
