Ramin Baghai

Ramin Baghai is a Professor of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from London Business School and is a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
His research explores topics related to corporate credit markets, corporate finance, asset management, and the intersection of labor economics and finance. Ramin’s work has been published in top academic journals, including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies, and has been cited in major media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg.
He teaches courses in Corporate Finance and has received the student-elected Best Teacher Award at SSE in 2020 and 2023.
