Inequality, Financial Stability and Sustained Growth, Global Utmaning and Swedish House of Finance

Global Utmaning and Swedish House of Finance with SIFR are inviting to the international workshop: Inequality, Financial Stability and Sustained Growth How the financial system is creating inequality and how inequality is driving financial instability and is undermining sustained growth has been identified by many contemporary researchers. This seminar aims at highlighting this research and discuss the policy implications.

The workshop is a part of Global Utmaning´s “The New Nordic Way”, a long-term project with the aim to explore the paths to a new economic narrative, i.e. a coherent model for sustainable development and full employment. The initiative´s purpose is to vitalise the public debate about the future of Sweden and Europe and thereby increase the political possibilities to meet the global challenges of today and tomorrow.
