Christos Tsoumas
Christos Tsoumas is Assistant Professor in Financial Management at the School of Social Sciences, Hellenic Open University. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Physics and a M.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; and a M.Sc. in Banking and Financial Management and a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the Department of Banking and Financial Management, University of Piraeus. He has worked as research and teaching assistant at the Department of Banking and Financial Management, University of Piraeus for 2001-2007 and as a post-doc researcher at the same department for 2007-2008. He has taught for 5 years as an adjunct professor at the Department of Business Administration, Athens University of Economics and Business; and at the School of Social Sciences, Hellenic Open University. His research interests lie in the field of Financial Management and Economics, Economics of Banking, Empirical Economics and Econometric Methods and Applications.
