Kristine Hankins mini course on corporate finance and industrial organization

Kristine Hankins is William E. Seale Associate Professor of Finance at University of Kentucky and primarily focuses on corporate finance, risk management, capital structure, and payout policy. She will be visiting SSE in the spring of 2018 and give a mini course on May 14 – 15 open to PhD students at SSE and other universities. The course is organized by the Department of Economics.
Kristine Hankins is the William E. Seale Professor and Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Kentucky. Her research interests include corporate finance, corporate risk management, and methodology issues and she is a prior winner of the Jensen Prize.
Prior to her academic career, Kristine held positions with Merrill Lynch's Private Equity Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers' Financial Securities Litigation practice, both in New York City. She earned her B.A. from the University of Chicago, a M.S. in Statistics from Rutgers University, and her Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Florida.
