Bo Becker has been appointed to the Gösta Olson Chair in Financial Economics

Bo Becker, professor at the Stockholm School of Economics since 2013, has been appointed to the Gösta Olson Chair in Financial Economics.
Bo Becker holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree from SSE. He has previously been Assistant Professor at Harvard Business School and the University of Illinois.
Bo Becker teaches in the Master and MBA programs at SSE. He is Program Director of the Master Program in Financial Economics, ranked 16th in the world by the Financial Times. He also serves as Program Director for the Mistra Financial Systems research program.
Bo Becker’s external assignments include Member of the Board of Trustees of SNS (Centre for Business and Policy Studies) Member of the Board of Lysa AB, as well as consultant for H&M, Swedish Match, the European Central Bank and the European Commission. He was previously Member of the Board of The Swedish National Debt Office.
