The Swedish Securities Markets Association supports Swedish House of Finance
Dec. 09, 2020
The Swedish Securities Markets Association continues to support Swedish House of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics (SHoF) as a partner organization, with a contribution of SEK 500,000 in addition to an earlier contribution of SEK one million. The goal is to support the center with a total of SEK five million during a ten-year period.
“We are very happy with the support we receive from the Swedish Securities Markets Association, financial as well as their active feedback and involvement in our center. It is a testament to the importance of financial research to maintain strong financial markets in general, and in particular that our center provides relevant research at the forefront,” says Anders Anderson, Director of Swedish House of Finance.
“Swedish House of Finance is a national center for financial research that have established itself as one of the leading research centers in Europe during the last decade. We have contributed to SHoF since the beginning and it is natural for us to continue to support the work at the center as they are seeking new long-term financing. We look forward to future cooperation with the center and the public and private organizations now joining in to support Swedish House of Finance,” says Urban Funered, CEO of the Swedish Securities Markets Association.
Urban Funered is member of the Board of Swedish House of Finance and as of recently also part of our Advisory Board. The Swedish Securities Markets Association represents the interest of 23 banks, investment banks and investment firms conducting business on securities markets in Sweden.
