Congratulations to our new professor and two new honorary doctors

On May 21 at Stockholm School of Economics Installation and Conferment Ceremony in the City Hall, Paolo Sodini was installed as new Professor.
At the same time Professor Harrison Hong from Princeton University and Professor David Robinson from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business were conferred honorary doctors.
Paolo Sodini is the director of the Swedish House of Finance National Data Center and one of the founders of the European Network of Household Finance. His research focuses on asset pricing and household finance.
Harrison Hong and David Robinson are both members of the Scientific Advisory Board at the Swedish House of Finance. Harrison Hong was awarded the American Finance Association’s Fischer Black Prize, given biennially to the person under 40 who has contributed the most to the theory and practice of finance. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Finance, he is Director of the American Finance Association and a research associate at the US National Bureau of Economic Research.
David Robinson is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of private equity, venture capital and entrepreneurial finance. He currently serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Finance and Capital and is a Research Associate at the US National Bureau of Economic Research. His work has appeared in leading academic journals in finance and economics and has been featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, and The Economist.
