Svetlana Gross is a PhD Student at the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum) and the Department of Management and Organization (DMO). Her PhD project aims to contribute to understanding of the current changes in the financial sector that are motivated by responding to the risks of climate change and other sustainability challenges. Her research is informed by interdisciplinary perspectives such as socio-technical sustainability transitions and transformative social innovation.
Svetlana holds an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology from St Petersburg State University in Russia and a MSc in Environmental Management and Policy from the IIIEE at Lund University in Sweden. She has 10 years professional experience with different aspects of environmental innovation and has previously worked with financing Nordic clean technology innovations in a consultancy start-up and, most recently, with funding energy research and innovation at the Swedish Energy Agency.
