Wikberg, Erik

Erik Wikberg is the Executive Director of House of Innovation.
He defended his thesis Artful Organizing: Essays on Places, Measurements and Money Flows in the Contemporary Cultural World at Stockholm School of Economics in 2017 and has been the co-editor of Artful Objects: Graham Harman on Art and the Business of Speculative Realism (Sternberg Press, 2021) and Economic Ekphrasis: Goldin+Senneby and Art for Business Education (Sternberg Press, 2021). His research has been published in the scientific journals Business Ethics Quarterly, Culture & Organization, International Journal of Managing Projects in Business, Organizational Aesthetics and Homo Oeconomicus.
Parallel to his job as Executive Director, Erik Wikberg is the Chairman of the Non-Fiction Expert Group at the Swedish Arts Council since 2022 (and member since 2020). He is also a columnist in the editoral pages of Vlt/Mittmedia since 2019.
Erik Wikberg has extensive teaching experience from Stockholm School of Economics, the Swedish Defense university, Stockholm University and Södertörn University.
Prior to joining House of Innovation, Erik Wikberg has had many positions at Stockholm School of Economics. He has for example been a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Management and Organization and the Center for Retailing, the Board Secretary and Communications Manager of MISUM, and the first Director of SSE Literary Agenda.
