New members of the International Advisory Council at SSE

Stockholm School of Economics is welcoming five new members to the International Advisory Council, IAC. The new members will bring an important perspective in further developing and internationalizing the School, representing three different continents.

Dr. Thomas Lavelle is a member of the faculty at SSE and teaches courses in management and academic communication, academic and creative writing and pedagogy. Given his pedagogical interest and his interest in the interface between language and learning, he has been involved in different types of international programs and projects previously. He is attracted to both aspects of the CIVICA alliance—educational cooperation across borders and locally grounded social engagement. He is now a part of the team organizing the first European Week in June.

Grant to Kristina Tamm Hallström (DMO)

Kristina Tamm Hallström (DMO) has been granted 1.850.000 SEK from the Hakon Swenson Stiftelsen for the project “What can we learn from the 100-year-olds?”, to be run in 2022 and 2023, together with Karin Fernler (DMO) and Jenny Lindberg (Urban and Regional Studies, KTH).
