The Swedish business magazine Veckans Affärer has listed the business community’s most powerful women in eight categories; CEO, owner, entrepreneur, social change maker, professional board member, director, tech profile and business woman.

In the presence of Gabriel Wikström, Minister for Public Health, Healthcare and Sports, 50 female role models in sport were named at a ceremony organized by the Swedish Alliance for Women in Sport on International Women's Day.

Christoph Schneider, PhD student at the Department of Accounting and member of the Stockholm School of Economics Institute for Research (SIR), has received a research grant from the Torsten Söderberg’s Foundation for his project “Open Book Accounting in capital equipment sales” (“Öppna kalkyler vid försäljning av kapitalutrustning”). The research grant, worth 410,000 SEK, allows him to finalise his PhD thesis during 2017. Congratulations, Christoph!
