Center for Sustainability Research (CSR)
The Center for Sustainability Research (CSR) is a cross-disciplinary social science research center focused broadly on sustainable development at different levels of analysis. Our research covers areas in sustainable socioeconomic development, global governance, migration and integration, sustainable markets, production and consumption, circular and sharing economies, sustainable finance, corporate social responsibility and sustainable business management.
CSR traces its history back to what was previously known as the Sustainability Research Group (SuRe) and was officially started in 2015 by the founding director of the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum). In 2020 the center changed its name from the "Center for Research on Sustainable Markets (CRSM)" to the "Center for Sustainability Research (CSR)" and is closely associated with the Stockholm School of Economics, Department of Marketing and Strategy.
CSR is a research center at SIR, Stockholm School of Economics Institute for Research. The SIR Foundation is a national research institute for the economic sciences, with a focus on Business Administration in the broadest sense.
