Building a successful e-commerce strategy with Panagora

The retail management students in the E-commerce Retail Club gained valuable insights and practical tools for building a successful e-commerce strategy with the agency Panagora.

Moon-Suck Song, CEO and founder of the e-commerce agency Panagora, shared lessons from over 20 years of industry experience, highlighting why some ventures succeed and the importance of creating an ecosystem for long-term growth.

Following an introduction to key e-commerce strategies, students were divided into groups to work on a case study addressing a luxury department store's e-commerce challenges. Each group applied and ranked the newly learned tools, identified key success factors, and developed strategies for building an e-commerce ecosystem. The students then presented their solutions, receiving feedback and further insights from Moon-Suck Song.

The session concluded with a Q&A, allowing students to explore further topics such as hype in online and offline markets, localization strategies, and the balance between brand and retailer dynamics. The students left with fresh perspectives and actionable strategies to tackle future challenges in e-commerce.
