Product Launch workshop at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners
Marcus Hagström, Commercial Graduate, and Hans Tam, Commercial Brand Manager, held a presentation about the energy drink market followed by a short overview of the launch of their new energy drink product Reign Storm. The students were tasked with creating a sell-in-story for the largest grocery retailer on the market, and create a strategy to ensure listings are kept at current customers.
Some suggestions presented by the students for the pitch were: pitch it as a key product for a new customer segment, use similar international brand products hype to prove the product will sell, and describe how it will attract customers to the energy drink section, ultimately selling more of all energy drinks. Some suggestions presented by the students for the strategy was to put the drink beside other Coca-Cola value to touch on the brand loyalty of all Coca-Cola products, and guerilla marketing.
