SSE and NBIM have initiated a research collaboration to delve deeper into the importance of psychological safety and resilience among investment employees. This collaboration brings together leading experts in the field, including Professor Martin Carlsson-Wall, Director of the Center for Sports and Business at SSE, and Professor Amy Edmondson from Harvard Business School, a pioneer in the study of psychological safety and author of the book “The Fearless Organization: Creating Psychological Safety in the Workplace for Learning, Innovation, and Growth”.

The research aims to understand the mechanisms behind psychological safety and resilience among investment employees and how the implementation of sports psychological principles may contribute to strengthening the fund’s performance culture. We seek to develop a deeper understanding of how these factors impact the work environment and performance within the organization.
