Center for Sports & Business at the Inauguration of the KTH Center for Sports Technology
Representatives from the Center for Sports & Business gathered together with over a hundred people in the premises of KTH Innovation for the opening of the KTH Center for Sports Technology.
Opening remarks were delivered by Anders Söderholm, the President of KTH, Anders Larsson, Vice President of the Swedish Olympic Committee, as well as Peter Mattssin, National Sports Confederation Elite Sports 2030.
Technology to decode, predict and enhance human movement, innovative exercise machines, heart rhythm-synchronized running and ice rink technology were four of the approximately twenty project that were presented during the inauguration
Later on, the Center for Sports & Business participated as an exhibitor at the fair that followed, talking to entrepreneurs, industry experts as well as students at KTH that were interested in the operations of the Center for Sports & Business at SSE.
The Center for Sports & Business has maintained relationships with KTH for many years, starting with the inception of the Swedish Olympic Academy in 2017, a foundation that started as a collaboration by the Swedish Olympic Committee, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Karolinska Institute and the Stockholm School of Economics.
