The theme of this digital event was 21st Century Sports: How Technologies will Impact Sports in the Digital Age and the keynote speech was given by Professor Sascha Schmidt from WHU.

On Wednesday December 7th, the Center for Sports & Business at SSE held a joint alumni event together with the ESSEC Business School and WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management. This digital event was a collaboration with the Germany SSE Alumni Hub. It was the first time that these three leading European sports centres hosted a joint event.

On Tuesday, November 29th, the Center for Sports and Business held a partnership day at the Stockholm School of Economics. The day covered a broad array of topics such as an external environment analysis and trends we see globally, strategic challenges for Swedish sports, strategic development as well as operational focus and measuring of sustainability. During this successful day, representatives from Sweden's major sports, hockey, football, golf, trot racing and skiing as well as key individuals from the political sphere gathered and had insightful discussions.

On Thursday October 6th, the SSE Sport Initiative had its third event of the Sports & Inclusiveness Week with a workshop by sports research experts at SSE - Martin Carlsson Wall, Director of The Center for Sports & Business and Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting, and Fanny Almersson, PhD Student at the Department of Accounting.
