David Domeij, professor at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), has been appointed the Eva and Mats Qviberg Professor in Economics.

This enables internationally acclaimed Martina Björkman Nyqvist to continue her important research on development economics and children’s health and education as the new Carl Bennet & Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Chair in Economics.

Abhijeet Singh, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Affiliated Researcher at Misum, has been awarded a Starting Grant from the European Research Council for a project studying social inclusion in private schools in India. His research project is one of only twelve in Sweden to receive the grant this year.

Mark Voorneveld, Associate Professor of Economics at Department of Economics at SSE, has been awarded MSc Teacher of the Year by the Education Committee, SASSE. Mark was awarded for being an incredibly engaging and thorough teacher that truly provided the students with guidance and care.
