Challenges our society is facing today and will face in the future only continue to grow and become more complex. To address those challenges requires new approaches for designing and implementing public policies. This involves planning for impacts of possible interventions already from the very beginning.

Impact assessment is an important part of the policy-making process. It helps in evaluating the potential effects of proposed policies on various stakeholders and making informed decisions about whether to adopt, modify, or reject a proposed policy. It also helps to communicate the benefits of any public investment to society.

This webinar will introduce the participants to the key principles needed for creating interventions with long-term impacts in mind. It will cover the basics of a logical framework, theory of change, difference between outcome and impacts, KPIs vs impact measures, and present some examples of charting impact pathways.

The seminar will be delivered by Dr Jelena Angelis.
